about

This is the final track recorded for the album. It's a simple enough thing, I really like how it came out. Plus you get to hear my mediocre guitar skills close out the record. It's been almost a solid year since all that shit went down that inspired the album, thusly I felt this song would be a final note saying goodbye to her, goodbye to despair, and welcoming a new time.

lyrics

Here now at the end
Waiting to begin
Sung the song of mine
Awaiting your reply

That is never to come
As the sea beckons the sun
To fall and rise again
These final words I send

You had all of me
And you felt like destiny
In the end it was a lie
And so I say goodbye

So at the edge I stand
A stronger smarter man
From what you put me through
And so farewell to you

The wind it calls of home
And I know I'm not alone
Yes I will go on
After a year you're finally gone

Music/beats assembled by Andy Moniker, provided by LooperMan.com. Notable user contributions: MINOR2GO and ShortBusMusic. Without their hard work and talent at loop creation this album would never have been assembled. My thanks goes out to them for giving me inspiring head starts into each track, as well as to LooperMan for doing what they do.
