about
Donde Esta was penned while I was working at a movie theater years ago, and recorded shortly thereafter, whereabouts of...2007? It was about a girl I had a thing for but I never thought I'd ever make a move on. The song's lyrics kind of describe if we had a day to just go somewhere and watch the world around us.
lyrics
If you stay here, I'll let you have my heart
Another day to let you try to take me apart
Just to see another sunrise in your eyes
And when we go to the place we both love, you will know
That our today is ours and no others
A soundtrack backbeat to another pair of lovers
Who saw a bird fly above and land below
The concrete barrier that will never grow
I see lightning, I see rain
I see you and me forever again
What would you do if you saw me dancing?
It's not quite what you would call romantic
Falling down, down, down, down to the floor
Looking round, round, round is there something more?
More than truth and peace and sweet release for nothing?
Or cut the middle man out and pass ourselves for something?
I see lightning, I see rain
I see you and me forever again
